Analemma
Sold. Mixed Media | 2022
"Analemma," is inspired by the shape that the sun's shadow creates across the earth as it is tracked throughout the year. The analemma is like a topographical mirror of the tilting of the earth and the shape of the earth's orbit, tracing the sun from it's furthestmost ascent, to neutrality with the equator, and dipping into its' closest proximity at the summer solstice.

Dissolution
Dissolution is a chemical term for the act of materials dissolving into one another to become one homogenous creation.
In the end, nature is the true alchemist, bringing things together and breaking them back down again, creating ever more forms as time unfolds.

An exposé on the pulsations of space-time, and the power generated, like a windmill, by the shifting of polarities just as the earth turns, whereby above becomes below and the inner becomes the outer as day turns into night.
What is this grounding sound current which arranges all things into their patterns, patterns that form into cycles upon cycles like a kaleidocscope of theme and variation; forming forms that seem formed, yet are unforming in their progression, transforming into ever-more forms, yet isolated in harmony, the way a dancer embodies rhythm?
"All eyes do not see with the same vision, for to one an object appears of one form and color and to a different eye of another. So also the infinite fire, changing from color to color, is never the same from day to day." -The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus
